First time beard carer?
We’ve been there… What’s worth it? What ingredients should I look out for? How do I find something that smells right? it can all be a bit overwhelming… The reality is, it’s really simple. Here’s some info about what Beesü offers.
What ingredients help natural growth?
If you’re looking to fill out your beard naturally without using invasive methods, lets be honest, there isn’t a product out there that will turn your facial hair into a braid-able ‘Rapunzel Viking’ without lots of work.
At Beesü, we like to focus on the importance of appreciating our bodies as they are, and finding ways of providing those bodies with self-love. Now we aren’t nutritionists, but we do know that beards tend to like some foods more than others and that facial hair style, length, shape, coverage and colour comes in large part down to genetics!
So rather than trying to sell you a product, we’d much rather sell you an idea. You are beautiful as you are.
All that being said, you probably came here to find out more about the ingredients and their benefits. Some of our oils contain ingredients that have large swathes of scientific evidence and studies revealing interesting facts about their properties on skin and hair. Here are a couple examples…

Natures secret weapons…
Coffee & Caffeine
We infuse coffee in our Aprés 8 and Chai Latté scents which not only brings a nutty warmth to our products, but increases blood circulation in the skin and acts as a hair growth stimulator.
Peppermint Oil
An antimicrobial vasodilator that helps with circulation, this refreshing oil helps bring blood to the surface and aid a healthy hair follicle life cycle. Found exclusively in Aprés 8.
Star Anise
Found as an essential oil in Anise You In My Life and Chai Latté products, this seed boasts a ream of benefits that we recommend reading more about. For now though we’ll mention that it’s antiviral, anti-microbial and anti-fungal.
Jojoba oil
A highly moisturising oil that can help control sebum secretion and helps keep skin young. You’ll find this in Black Lavender and Hot Jasmine and Aprés 8
Black Pepper
Found in our Black Lavender and Lumberjack Stuck In A Hedge and Hot Jasmine and Chai Latté scents - it’s safe to say we’re big fans of this one! Not only does it add a beautiful earthy scent, it’s full of antioxidants and is anti-fungal too!
Lavender
Found in Black Lavender and Night : Day and Anise You In My Life while more data is required to conclude, there are many studies that suggest that it can act as a sedative and slow heart rate.
Sunflower oil
The main carrier oil for all our beard oils contains high levels of naturally occurring Vitamin E - which brings great protection from sun damage to your skin and acts as a natural “preservative” or antioxidant.

What’s the difference between a balm, oil and a wax?
The main purpose of beard balms is usually for taming, moisturising and as a solid cologne. (Also works great as an emergency lip balm and hand moisturiser on the go!)
Usually used for wearable conditioning, cologne and shine. No harm in trying it in a candle-lit oil diffuser too though!
Our flagship selection is a strong hold moustache wax ideal for keeping those those lip whiskers curled all day long.
